Renée DiResta

Renée DiResta is an Associate Research Professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University, and the author of Invisible Rulers: The People Who Turn Lies Into Reality. She researches influence across social and media networks and has studied rumors, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns in the context of pseudoscience conspiracy theories, elections, terrorism, and state-sponsored information warfare. She serves on the board of Tech Policy Press.
